Photos can be entered on Friday April 27, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturday morning until 12:00pm. Judging will be done on Saturday April 29. Photos will be exhibited on Saturday afternoon. Award presentation will be during the Chuck Wagon Dinner. Photos will be returned within 2 weeks of the contest.

There are two divisions: Youth 18 years of age and under and Open Class. Prize money will be awarded in each division. Each division has the following categories: 1. Animals 2. Birds 3. People 4. Farm & Ranch 5. Landscapes & Scenery 6. Plover Festival (prior year) 7. Karval Events 8. Other There will be 4 places awarded in each category and a Champion and Reserve Champion in each division.

RULES:

  1. Photos must be mounted on light weight cardboard, poster board, of construction paper in any artistic manner.
  2. Exhibitors name to be on back of entry.
  3. Exhibitor may enter only 1 entry in each category. A photo may only be entered once.
  4. All photography must be taken in the Karval area.
  5. Each exhibitor agrees to let Karval Community Alliance use any entries for promoting the contest or for any advertising in the future
